moved by Giovanni’s sweet expression of emotion that she peeked open one eye to
look upon him. After Mira looked at Giovanni, she immediately began to look
around nervously. She was relieved to see that
the others continued to hold their heads down and close their eyes, as the
preacher continued to pray. Mira nudged Giovanni
with her elbow and whispered into his ear, “Gio, honey, you are literally
glowing right now. You really should figure out how to stop, before everyone
else sees you.”
Giovanni opened
his eyes, looked at his hands, and saw a light bouncing back into his face…
