Eternal
Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 3
Giovanni threw back his warm damp covers and
swung his feet out of the bed, planting them on the floor and causing the room
to rattle slightly. He stood up slowly, stretching his arms to the ceiling,
which he could touch with his palms flat without even standing on his toes. He
relaxed his body and looked down at his feeble friend. “Yeah, today could be
the day,” he said. “Breakfast sounds good. Let’s go.” Giovanni walked over to
Abraham, circled around to the back of his wheelchair, and then pushed him down
the hall to head back to Abraham’s room. There they loaded into Abraham’s
personal elevator, which they used as a shortcut to the kitchen.
