Eternal
Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 6
Finally, one night after Mira and Giovanni had
finished entering all their data into Abraham’s super computer, Mira joined
Abraham and Giovanni for dinner. She was tired and weary. Her face and demeanor
weren’t hiding anything and neither was she. That evening she ate her meal in
silence. After dinner, Mira swiftly excused herself from the table and headed
out to the gardens to get some fresh air. Giovanni remained in the kitchen to
clean up. Abraham followed slowly behind Mira to talk to her.
“So, I take it you had an especially rough day
today,” said Abraham in a questioning tone.
Mira shrugged her shoulders and slowly turned
around and gave a sigh. “This isn’t what I was expecting,” said Mira beginning
to pace again. “Tell the truth Abraham. Is there really something special here
or am I just wasting my time?”
