Today we honor the laborers, or maybe the labors
associations, or maybe the contributions of labor to the economic system…huh…well,
at least I get to eat hot dogs and watch fireworks.
Seriously, I know why, as a nation, we started
celebrating Labor Day, but in all honesty, it’s the mark of summer’s end now. I
do make an effort the reflect on the true purpose of the holiday, but I’m so
preoccupied with my last of summer vacation.
