Eternal
Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 4
Mira removed her glasses; she pushed her hands
up into her face, swept them up over her hair, and then took a deep breath. She
folded her arms in front of her chest, looked back, and then forth between
Giovanni and Abraham several times quickly. Abraham was a mystery to her and a
little creepy in a sweet way, but seemed harmless. Giovanni, on the other hand,
looked like he could stop a bar fight just walking through the door, yet he too
seemed safe enough. He seemed to always be so subdued and to have a constant
cloud of sadness around him, which Mira looked upon as a silent screaming out
for help and understanding. Mira didn’t know why she was there with these
strange men and their strange stories and mysteries, but she’d decided to stay.
