Eternal Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 8

Mira held up her head and slowly opened her eyes; she saw Giovanni smiling at her. She moved her hand up to his cheek and told him that he was beautiful, but before he could say anything back to her, Mira realized that she was in fact floating. They were hovering just above the floor of her room. She became startled and clung to Giovanni’s body with fierce determination, grabbing his shirt tight within her locked fists. Her eyes blinked with disbelief and her heart pounded as she pressed her face up against Giovanni’s chest, trying to hide her fear. Giovanni chuckled and slowly brought them back down to the floor.
Giovanni released his hold on Mira, and she quickly pulled away from him shaking and confused, feeling both tranquility and fear at the same time. “I just wanted to make you not feel so sad anymore,” said Giovanni staring back at Mira.
